Championship shoots
Rose funnel shoot 1v1 style shoot double elimination Distance 25-30yrds 6 arrows untimed for first rounds – semifinals will be speed rounds of 30secs with final being a combination of both 6 arrows untimed and 30 secs timed Size - slightly enlarged standard target Each ring will be separated and distanced approx. 1yrd from the next ring with the center ring being approx. 5yrds behind the outer ring. Petal shoot (alternate) 1 person per target 6 arrows timed 30 secs; accumulative 3 attempts Distance – Targets at 20 and 25yrds 6 arrows timed 30 secs; accumulative 3 attempts Size = standard target cut in half Rose with 6 petals that will be knocked over when shot. Each archer has 6 arrows to shoot as many petals as they can off within 30 secs (for populace this may be extended to 40secs. Populace shoots Swaying roses 2-3 archers per target Distance – varying from 10-25yrds 6 arrows timed 1min (best of 3 attempts being recorded) Size – approx. same as the blue ring on standard target Roses will be on “stems” that will bow and sway after being hit Primroses/ground roses 3+ archers per target Distance – varying higher points given to further targets Untimed 6 arrows (best of 3 attempts being recorded) Size – approx. 15in. Ground targets spread across the field archer must hit 3 targets before returning to a previously shot rose. Center will be covered by a leaf or bush giving 0 points Drying roses 2-4 archers Distance - 15yrds 6 arrows 1min timer (best of 3 attempts recorded) Size – varying higher points for smaller targets Roses hanging from string Painting the roses red (friend/foe) 4+ archers Distance – 20 yrds Timed 30secs shoot (best of 3 recorded) Size – approx. 2x4ft. Help paint the rose red by shooting only the white roses and don’t forget to avoid the thorns |

10am Misc Games including but not limited to: Best Retainer Contest, Mussical Cows, Ribbon Pairs, etc. 11:30am Challenge Course Set-up 12 noon Rose Challenge Course! 1:30pm Team Introductions on the Armored/Rapier fighting field. 2:15pm Lunch Break 3pm Tippet tag 4pm Mounted Combat (May be replaced by other games if there is a lack of interest.) 5 PM Dinner/Court Break 7pm Buzkashi, Tippet Tag, Open Riding etc. For those camping with Horses, please be off site Sunday no later than noon. Arena not available on Sunday. |
Armored and Rapier2-5:00 Combat pairings are selected by the Rose Sponsor. The Rose with the most precedence selecting first. Knights fighting Knights, Master fighting Master, non-Peers fighting non-Peers.
